Take time to rest, notice and observe the changes within your mind and body.
You can come back to normal food of your choice, but try to slowly re-introduce foods that you've previously avoided (1-2 types each day).
Suggested Detox Meals Guidelines
Make lunch your largest meal (between 10AM - 2PM).
Drink 2-3 liters of water daily.
Avoid heavy, hard to digest, channel clogging foods: meat (meat broth is ok), seafood (seafood broth is ok), gluten, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, eggs, dairy, nigh shade vegetables, raw food such as salad, soy products, nuts and grains needs to be soaked first before eating, vegetable oils, and any frozen, processed, left overnight, and non-organic foods.
Incorporate light, easy to digest, detox aiding foods: leafy green vegetables, reddish, carrots, asparagus, zucchini, okra, yam, bitter melon, celery, aloe vera, winter squashes, sweet potatoe, cilantro, parsley, ghee, and always choose fresh, organic, seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Suggested Detox Home Guidelines
Fixed routine: try to wake up every morning by 6AM, and sleep by 10PM. Rest, exercise, and eat at the same time every day.
Reduce Stress: try to reduce workload and choosing postive thoughts during your detox period.
Spend time in nature: try to spend at least 1 hour outdoors in nature each day during your detox period.
Ask for support: inform your loved ones and those living with you about your detox plans and ask for support and encouragements to keep you motivated.
Review Your Ayurveda Consultation Report: choose 1-2 items from the recommendations to start incorporating into your wellness routine right away, such as meditating daily.
